My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the location was fantastic, close to the Potomac River and a short distance from Old Town Alexandria, the rooms left much to be desired with a lingering odor reminiscent of a wet dog and cigarettes. Despite this, the staff, especially the manager, were understanding and helpful, making up for the room issues to a certain extent. The dining experience was affected by construction, but the Sicilian cunzato bread was a savory highlight amidst the challenges. The facilities were adequate, though not exceptional. Overall, a mixed experience with notable positives and negatives.
